The Wizard Of Oz

This movie is an old movie it was in 1939 but yet it still shows today on TBS and other stations and is still a big hit. It is an adventurous; it has fantasy, and is great for the family. It starts off in black in white then when in the fantasy world turns to color. Judy Garland who plays Dorothy Gale the girl who gets swept away in a magical land with little munchkins and goes on a quest to find the Wizard of Oz that way he can return her home. While on this quest she meets some friends the scarecrow, the lion, and the tin man they help her find her way to the Oz. They have to go through some obstacles like dealing with the wicked witch from the east. This movie is also known for the ruby slippers which Dorothy wears throughout the movie which have a huge impact throughout the movie. I do not want to ruin the ending for you so I won’t say more about those shoes. This movie is great for children because it allows their imagination to wonder and spread. This movie teaches you about how to love your home and not take anything for granted it has a purpose. The Wizard of Oz is one of my greatest movies because I have always loved it since I was little and watched it over and over again and still do sometimes. So go out and rent this movie or maybe you will catch it on TBS if you’re lucky.

Titanic

The movie Titanic was a movie in 1997 it is a drama and a romance. It is about a real classy rich girl who meets and falls in love with a underclass poor boy. They are on this ship known as the titanic that is also known for being unsinkable. Leonardo DiCaprio plays Jack Dawson the Non classy poor boy, and Kate Winslet plays Rose Bukater the classy rich girl. This movie is a little over three hours long but is worth every minute. It leaves you wanting more and because this unsinkable ship is not all what it is supposed to be. Its starts off by an old lady (Rose Bukater) who is telling her story about what happened with the romance with her and jack and what happened when the ship sank. They ask her to tell her story because they want to know what happened to the heart of the ocean which is a beautiful necklace. The movie goes through the romance of Rose and Jack and how complete opposites can really fall in love. Rose realizes that she is happier being herself and not what her mother wants her to be. This is a good movie for all the family to watch even those tough guys because it does have some action in it. I also forgot to mention that this movie is fictional, so you can always find out more about this ship if you are interested. This movie is no longer in theatres it is on video and DVD so it’s one a lot cheaper and you can take your time watching it. So have a movie night and enjoy this romantic but drama movie. Make sure you have three hours to spare though because once you start watching it is hard to stop believe me I have seen it about 50 times unintentionally.

Paranormal Activity

This movie is one of the scarriest movie of all time just talking about it right now makes me get goosebumps. I would not recommend children under the age of 12 to go see it because it really can give night mares. This movie is about a couple who has a pretty good relationship but the wife is known for seeing ghost in her passed and is seemed to being haunted by something. Well the movie is one of those that is like a documentary where it moves all the time as if it was a home camera being used. This makes the movie seeem alot more real and alot more spooky as well. Well the movie starts off a little slow but believe me picks up fast. Then you start seeing things you could not believe and start thinking about if that could really happen. You start seeing footprints appearing in the doorway when no one else was in the house but them and they were sleeping. I dont wan to ruin the movie for you but all I can tell you is it is worth seeing. There is some movies that people dont want to go a pay for to see in the theatres but this one is not one of those it is worth every penny. Paranormal is known to make people faint, cry, shake, have nightmares, and much much more. So if you love to be scared out of your pants than this is the right movie for you.
